28FebHello - echo - hellllllloooo

Its all quiet in the casa today. Crystal had to go out to an unemployment thing, and its pretty lonely here. I’m watching MacGuyver and can’t sing his praises to any one. I tried singing to the fish but they all swan away and hid on me. To console myself, I decided to walk up to Dunkin Donuts, and got myself a “Great One” sized coffee.

27FebAirport Security

This is a true story: the warning is both serious and very reliable.

Yesterday, a friend was traveling on a flight from Toronto to Calgary. A man of Arabic appearance got off the plane and my friend noticed that he had left his bag behind. She grabbed the heavy bag and ran after him, caught up with him in the terminal, and handed him back his bag. He was extremely grateful and reached into his bag, which appeared to contain large bundles of money.

He looked around to make sure nobody was looking and whispered “I can never repay your kindness, but I will try to… with a word of advice for you:

“Stay away from Oshawa, Ontario. You got it? Please stay away from Oshawa, no matter what.” My friend was genuinely terrified. “Is there going to be a terrorist attack in Oshawa? she asked him.

No,” he whispered back. “It’s a shithole.”

14Febfriday five

1. Explain why you started to journal/blog. I originally started the blog so my family could keep up with what I was doing. Because I lived so far away from them, its alot cheaper then phone calls. If I looked at my old journal (livejournal) I could probably wade thru the 4000+ entries and find some comments from my mom.

2. Do people you interact with day to day or family members know about your journal/blog? Why or why not? Of course my family knows about my website and blog. They’ve had my website address from the day I got it. My mother in law knows about my site, but I don’t think she reads it. The people I work with know I have a site, but I don’t think they have ever been to it.

3. Do you have a theme for your journal/blog? Nah, no theme. I write about whats been happening to me, and what I wish for. Mostly its me talking about dvds, computers and anything else that I am interested in at the moment.

4. What direction would you like to have your journal/blog go in over the next year? I’d like to be a better writer, and I’ll probably try to work on that part of things. I’m much more animated in real life then what I am on paper. I’d like to be able to rwrite like that.

5. Pimp five of your favorite journals/blogs. Hmmm. lets see:
