and i’m spent
Dishes (and laundry) are done, dude! Yes even before 12 pm today, I had the dishwasher, and 2 loads of laundry going. I cleaned up just a little. So thats a very good thing. I actually accomplished something on my day off!
I’ve been trying to rack my brains to figure out how to breath new life into our guild. Since our GL left, things have been going down hill. Don’t get me wrong our new GL is awesome, however he didn’t really want the position. He just wants to play for fun. So since our old one left, people haven’t been logging in anymore, and since he was a healer, trying to find people to run with is hard. Their main qq is “We need a healer.” In the back of my head, I’m yelling “We can try to pug a healer!!!111″. It seems like people have just given up. And that sucks alot. One guy has, he’s told me he won’t sign up for anything anymore cause theres a 99.99% that the run won’t happen. So I posted a large thread in the Officers forums, asking if there is anything that I can do to help. Then I went online and posted a good 8-10 runs for the next couple of weeks. There’s still one guy that posts for Kara runs, when we can’t even get 5 people together. I don’t want my guild to die, I really don’t but sadly I think it will. Give it a month or two and I don’t think it will be around much after that.
The cat has been sleeping in Crystals chair all day getting up only to chase the ferret around for abit, and then he was back up in the chair to sleep some more. Now, he is sitting in the window waiting for Crystal to come home. Plus theres birds out there so thats keeping him occupied.
work at the now place is going well. This weekend we should be getting some more paint to hopefully start painting the living room. I should be changing the front door lock out as well, and rehanging the cupboard doors. Maybe the week after that, we should be getting the knobs for the doors.
I found out at work yesterday, that we will be getting our first quarter bonus! W00t! That money will help us move. You know the good ol truck rental and all that stuff. Like last year we’ll be able to get everything in one truck load and have everything moved by noonish. Probably after I get everything settled, I’ll start painting the outside of the house. Since we didn’t get to do that this time cause of the amount of rain the previous weeks.
