Ok, so we got our tax check back, so its time to start looking for a new place to live. So I need all your help. We’re looking for a place in either Warwick, West Warwick, or Coventry. We’ll deal with Cranston if we have to. We’re looking to pay anywhere from $0-$700, one or two bedroom (probably at the price we are looking for, we’ll only find 1 bedrooms), and some where thats is pet friendly.

I said perferably Coventry so that my mother in law can pick me up on the way to work. Would be nice, and I could help her out by giving her some money each week for gas and such.

Ok. With that said, now its time for the Saturday review! We got up and played around on the internets for a bit, then showered and started our trip down to Coventry. We went down to Newbury Comics to look around. We found Crystal a nice pair of cute shoes, and I got a Shaun of the Dead figure. After that, we drove to Dennys, DSCN1046and Crystal phoned and left a message on her fathers phone, explaining where we were, and asked him to call back. We had a great lunch at Denny’s and went to the Supercenter and wandered around there, we got Crystal a new pillow, and a couple shirts, including a Miami Ink one for me. At that time her dad called and then we went to her moms to pick up the car, and drove to her dads so her could take a look at it. We had a real nice visit over there. It was great, I think her dad and step mother like me, which is good!

After her dad’s we went back to her moms, and had a great Pork roast for supper, and then sat down to watch The Departed. What a great movie! I’m not a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio, but he did a terrific job. Jack Nicholson was over the top as usual, but it fit in this movie. All of us really enjoyed it, and even Brian stayed awake through the whole thing!

Then we came home, and surfed the net, watched a re-run of SNL, and went to bed. Today Crystal is at work, I have some dishes to do, and I have to clean out the ferret cage. When she gets home, we’re gonna run out and find something to eat at Stop n Shop and come home, and maybe play some World of Warcraft.

i don’t wanna go back to work…

Had a great weekend. Crystals aunt was up from Florida, to take one of Crystals uncles down. So it was a huge family weekend. We got over there early so Robin could try out the new waffle iron, so I cooked the bacon. As I was eating I save one peice of bacon (out of 5 that I grabbed) to have as a last bite. I was just about finished and Crystal grabbed it off my playe, and tried to get it all in her mouth. She didn’t, I managed to save about 1/3 of the peice. I thought she learned that you don’t take food off my plate. I guess next time I’ll have to bite her. After breakfast, and the “battle of the bacon”, Crystal went with her mom and grandmother to get their hair cut. I went and picked up food for the fuzzy, and for some reason had a really bad headache, so bad that I was getting nausous. So I went back to the inlaws and promptly fell asleep for about 2.5 hours, and woke up feeling 100% better.

Nanny got really upset that we didn’t call her to watch The 40 Year Old Virgin last week. We told her that we had deemed it not “Nanny friendly” as it was the uncut verison, so we didn’t call her up. She was not too impressed, and said she had wanted to see it, so I told her I would leave it there, and we would watch it next weekend. But there was one stipulation: none of us were going to explain any jokes, or look her in the eyes while watching it! hehehe.

Today it was the gather the entire family for one last dinner together. Of course Crystals sister couldn’t make it for the meal, and only stayed like 10 minutes, then took off again. Least she made an appearance. I would have been disapointed if she didn’t. I wish she’d come over more. I’d love to get to know my little sister in law better, but can’t blame her for having a life. Even I had a life at that age. Not much of one, but I had one.

So we had lasgana around one, and then settled down to watch the Steelers kick some ass. For supper we had chicken wings. I had 2 helpings. They were so good.

We watched the first quarter of the Seahawks game, and then we packed up the fuzzy and came home.

We watched this movie last night. I liked it. It had me going right up to the end. I love movies like this where I have no idea whats gonna happen. However, I didn’t really understand the ending, and I had to have Crystal explain it to me, and had to read a couple of threads on imdb.com to understand it.

So I guess my movie was not all that great. It was good, but nothing really to write home about. Tonight, I think we may go to the drive in. If we do go, we’d have to leave in like 2 hours. I don’t know if I can do that. I was up at about 7:30 when the garbage men came by and have been out and about ever since, I think I need a nap.

Today we went down to the inlaws, so I could get new tires on Nanny’s truck and to pick up the dishwasher. It took a couple of hours to get the new tires all squared away and set, but now Nanny will be all set for winter. We also got the dishwasher in the house. It only took a year to get it here, and now I have to wait one more day so I can get a monkey wrench or something to get the old adaptor off and the new one on.

Now I am watching a stupid show on NBC, I think its called Mutant X. It was a tv series, but I guess it got cancelled. Why? Cause from what I can gather; it sucked.

Yup.

hazy, hot, and humid

Thats what its supposed to be today. high of about 88-90, plus the humidity. Its currently 83 degrees with 71% humidity. I don’t really notice it cause I have the a/c in with me. Its better than putting it in the living room, cause then Comrade has to attach a little tube to it so the water runs out to the street! I know frickin weird!

condomSpeaking of “tubes”, I found this on the net as I was surfing on blogexplosion, and just had to share it with you. From the website, you get this wonderful quote: “When you shag your bird, make sure you’re “innit!”" Make me want to go out and shag a bird right quick! Plus the plaid colours just make me hotter than the surface of the sun!

  • Pack of 3.

  • So far I got 2 bags of laundry packed, I rekon another 2 or 3 to go. I gotta fish the clothes out of the bedroom, the living room, and my little computer nook, so yeah 2-3 more bags to go. I think we’ll be leaving here in a couple of hours, and then we get to sit in a very very humid building and sit and sweat while waiting for the laundry to be done.

The Village (2004)Last night we watched The Village. It was pretty good, and really threw me through a loop at the end. Shamalamadingdong weaves a great story and you know, deep down I could see people doing this in some places in the states. But I think by now everyone has seen the movie so I won’t feel bad about talking about it. I think its pretty amasing that a group people could live in the 21st century, but live like they are in the 19th century. Then make up a storey of monsters in the woods so the kids don’t find their way out to civilization. Pretty cool. But I don’t think I am making too much sense
