WoW, has it been that long? I can’t really remember how I got here or from what website, I was probably trying to comment on, but here I am!
Back when I joined, Brad was still in school, and the Livejournal server(s) were in his dorm room. I posted when I could remember back then. But I did make one pretty cool community: Ljwhore. Yeah it was pretty popular back in the early part of the decade. Early part, man do I feel old now! Sadly it became over wraught with spamming and the ever popular “join my community” posts.
I participated in Lianna’s Nekkid Xmas, and for the first time on the interweb, my bits were out there for the world to see. I was around before all the rating communities, and closed invites, and before Six Apart bought LJ. Back then it felt like a small city where everyone knew one another. I remember 1 time, we almost crashed the server because I wanted to know how many comments I could get in one night. I think I got close to 600-800 comments, and it turned the server to molassis!
I think the most important thing that happened to my life because of Livejournal was meeting chicky here. Before we got married, I even had invited Brad to the east coast to be apart of our day. Sadly he had to decline.
Some of my early friends included: chicky, debgirl001, daydream, kansaschica, tribegirl, and velocity. velocity was even my best man at my wedding, but we kinda grew apart after that, I’ve tried to contact him once or twice but no joy.
So yeah its been a crazy and wild ride!
