Heh yeah, a real post from me. Its been crazy busy at work, with everyone starting to get ready for Black Friday. Holy shit! That’s just one week away!

Yesterday, I covered for the DSD (Direct Store Delivery) associate. Nothing like 8 hours of standing in bascially one spot checking in the local vendors. (Anywhere from soda, to bread) After that, UPS came in. Now the day before, UPS brought in 40 pieces of freight. Yesterday, however, they brought in 118 boxes. 118 boxes that have to each be opened up, and every piece has to be scanned in by hand. Yesterday was the first day that I didn’t finish by noon. I finally walked out of the backroom at 3:45. Just enough time to take my last break. In addition to the 118 pieces of UPS, when the milk vendor came in, he had 861 pieces of milk, ranging anywhere from milk chugs, to gallons of milk to half gallons of Egg Nog.

When I finally left, I had only not checked in about 8 boxes, and maybe 15-20 boxes of Site to Store. I think I did pretty well. Course since I couldn’t leave the backroom all day, my main job suffered terribly. I kinda feel bad for H, my counterpart in the Claims area. She’s been sick for the past 2 days, and had to walk in to a very very bad mess in Claims this morning.

Since maybe some of you guys are curious, this is what my work space looks like at home. I’ll try and remember to take a picture of my work space at work, and post it here too.

Well time to veg, and maybe do some laundry today.

Another Tuesday, another day off. This time the WoW servers are down, unlike last week, when they just had rolling restarts. Shit. Now I gotta work around the house till they come up. Its cool here today. I like spring, I like it when its cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon. Summers in Whitehorse were like that. You could always tell how hot it was going to be, by how *cold* it was in the morning. The colder in the morning, the hotter in the afternoon/evening.

The cat is all curled up on Crystals chair. I really should go over there and annoy him, like he did to me at 5am this morning, but I’ll let him sleep. pickle is around here somewhere too, sleeping. Probably in a closet or something. They will both wake up and watch me as I load the dish washer or something. I had to leave early from work yesterday. So since I was rushed, I forgot to buy dinner for last night and quarters for laundry today. I guess it will have to wait till next week. It shouldn’t be too bad, not like a couple of weeks ago.

work is going good. Lawn and garden is all set up and is breaking its sales from last year. Saturday is their Grand Opening, so if you are in the Warwick area, be sure to go and visit, and buy some plants. If you do go, look up and see all the work I did with the help of my co-worker Bill.

Lemmie tell you, Chaucer is loving this weather, I open the window, and he sits in it watching people go by like an old man on his porch. A couple of nights ago, there was a bug on the other side of the screen, and he was pushing his face against the screen try to get at the bug. Course he’s still afraid of the garbage truck, and will run and hide if it drives through our parking lot.

One thing I hate about having Tuesday off (other than the fact Crystal has to go to work, and the WoW servers are down), is the fact that day time tv friggin sucks. Theres nothing on. I mean who cares about what Regis did the night before? I don’t. And is it just me or is Kelly Ripa’s voice like nails down a chalkboard? I think they should have a three way celebrity deathmatch with Rosie vs. Kelly vs. Regis. In round 3 they should introduce landmines and shotguns. Air it live on Pay-Per-View, make millions and 3 annoying people would be dead. I think I’d pay atleast $5 to watch it.

I have to pee…

Another day off, and hopefully another post. I’ve opened this window 3 or 4 times, and have closed it cause I really don’t have anything to write. Hopefully Zoomr’s uploader is working so I can upload all my pictures from the shareholders meeting now.

Its starting to get warm here again, which is a good thing. I hated last week when I had to wear a jacket to work. It was that cold. My blue hair went over really well at work untill a market manager saw it and had a hissy fit. So I died it black, but of course the colour is starting to fade, so its going blue again. My store manager does not sseem to care what colour it is tho, and has told me that he likes the blue.

It looks like Zoomr is allowing massive uploads via their site so hopefully I can share some pictures in a couple of minutes.

Another Tuesday, another day off! But this week its not raining cats and dogs! Its nice, almost 70 degrees out and beautiful, I think I’ll be taking Crystal to work tonight. And the best thing, we have no plans for tomorrow, so she can sleep in and do absolutly nothing all day, which is good, cause she has not been able to do that for a while.

work is going good, I got my itinerary yesturday for the Shareholders meeting in Bentonville at the end of next month. I fly outa Providence, and into Chicago, then from Chicago to Tulsa. And then from Tulsa to Bentonville via bus. Should be interesting I think. Now I can get alittle excited about it. The only ting that sucks is that I’ll be away for my birthday. But we can celebrate that the following week methinks.

WoW is going pretty good, only 5 more lvls to go before I can quest for my mount, I can’t wait. I needs the powerlvls! hahah The only think I hae about having a day of on Tuesdays is the whole maintenence thing that happens. Course I think this week its only really rolling restarts, but I’m not sure as I have not gone to check it out yet.
